I bought the unit based on it's description, thinking that the high number of LED lights, 48, would give it a better IR image at night than a unit with a lower number of LEDs. I also expected that the 540 TVL lines would give a sharper image! It is a LARGE device which is a lot more visible to intruders. That could be good or bad depending if you are looking for a visual deterrence or wanting stealth! I was wrong on both assumptions about the LED count and the TVL count making a unit perform better than a similar unit with a lower LED count and a lower TVL count.
